Okydoky! here are the studying hints for your exam on Monday.
The more thorough version was verbally delivered at the end of class on Friday. For those of you that were not there on friday, find some one who was and fill in what I may miss here. I don’t have the test in front of me, and its early so the neurons are not firing at full capacity.
KNOW ALL NINETEEN STANDARDS OF PRACTICE FOR NURSING SKILLS IN ORDER WITH THE THREE CATEGORIES ( BEFORE DURING AND AFTER) This is worth twenty points!!!!!! Must be in order !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Know all your procedures and the steps in which they are performed
Review your crutch walking ( one point, two point, three point, weeeeee! swing through) and when they are used.
Know the steps involved in all the skills you had to have checked off this week and in which order they are done.
Focus on the Elking Perry Potter reading assignments found in your syllabus for skills lab.
Review your sterile procedures, and make sure to really read through the boxes and skills sections in each chapter.
Its early, so I don’t remember what else is on the test, but if you wrote down what I went over at the end of class on friday, you should have a good solide jumping off point for the exam tomorrow.
