On our exam coming up for skills, for the 19 standard of protocols. Do we have to write it out or will it be written but just needs to be marked with 1,2,3 and so on?
Posted by Jeanette Aragon | December 5, 2010, 7:14 pmHello Jeanette,
Yes you will need to write out each step. memorize the bold wording.
For example:
1) Verify physician’s orders if skill is a dependent or collaborative nursing intervention.
2) Gather necessary supplies/equipment and complete any necessary charges per agency protocol.
HOpe this helps!

I believe you mentioned to read vital signs is that on the monday Exam.

I heard you mention to read Vitals Signs. Will that be on the monday Exam.
Thanks,
Posted by La Kesha Williams | December 5, 2010, 10:58 pmHi Lakesha,
No, Vital Signs is what we are going to focus on this week after your test. Only things we’ve actually done in skills lab and/or read in our books do far.
Posted by underpaidnurse | December 6, 2010, 12:19 amHi Ericka,
Is school open a few days next week. I believe I left a book in the skills lab.
